The Power Plant Maintenance Intern rotates through plant areas to learn operations and provide support for mechanical and operational maintenance tasks. The intern assists with monitoring equipment locally and remotely from the Control Room, performing equipment rounds, and supporting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting while following safety practices.

The ideal candidate is a maintenance intern with education or training from high school, trade school, technical school, or equivalent experience, who can support daily operational and mechanical tasks in a power plant environment. They can operate and monitor equipment locally and remotely from the Control Room, perform equipment rounds and preventative maintenance, and follow strict safety and environmental procedures.
