About this role
USA TODAY Co./LocaliQ seeks a Digital Marketing Client Strategist to manage and grow client advertising programs across PPC, display, social, and digital/print media. The role owns the post-sales client relationship, drives multi-channel strategy, and ensures campaigns are optimized to exceed performance goals and maximize ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the post‑sale client relationship and serve as the primary day‑to‑day contact
- Develop and manage multi‑channel digital advertising strategies (Search, Display, Social, O&O)
- Lead recurring performance reviews (weekly, monthly) translating metrics into actionable insights
- Analyze campaign data, trends, and KPIs to optimize performance and ROI
- Act as liaison between clients and backend delivery teams to meet and exceed objectives
Technical Overview
Own multi-channel paid media strategies including Search, Display, Social, and O&O, using campaign data analysis and KPI-based optimization. Work daily in CRM systems, paid advertising platforms, and proprietary tools, coordinating with ad operations and digital solutions teams to deliver client outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level digital marketing professional experienced managing paid search (PPC), display, and social media campaigns. They can own post-sale client relationships, run weekly and monthly performance reviews, and translate campaign data and KPIs into clear optimizations to maximize ROI.
