The Pricing Analyst executes pricing strategy at the distribution center level to support margin goals and local Go to Market initiatives. The role manages price deviations and exceptions, runs DSBC reporting, and provides pricing recommendations for local customer bids and promotional pricing.

  • Manage price deviations and exceptions (CBAs, self-funded deviations, approvals)
  • Answer pricing queries for the designated DC
  • Analyze and develop pricing recommendations for bids and new customer acquisition
  • Run and improve area DSBC reporting; resolve costing errors with stakeholders
  • Execute weekly promotional pricing and monitor margin/market pricing opportunities

This is a data-driven pricing role requiring analytical work around DSBC, margin analysis, cost error identification, and exception management. It uses pricing tools/systems such as Merlin and potentially the PRIME pricing system, alongside heavy use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
