About this role
Principal AI/ML Scientist leading the Medical Devices Digital AI initiatives, bridging advanced algorithm research with scalable, production-grade ML deployments in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ML solutions development and delivery, including data ingestion, feature engineering, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring
- Architect highly available, secure, scalable cloud/on-prem ML infrastructure
- Engage with ML scientists and act as bridge between science and engineering
- Partner with algorithm scientists to translate concepts into production-ready software
- Implement robust CI/CD workflows for ML models with testing and governance
Technical Overview
Hands-on ML with Python; exposure to NLP/NLG and multimodal learning; cloud platforms including Azure OpenAI and Azure Databricks; developing production-grade MLOps and CI/CD workflows; regulated data privacy and SaMD considerations.
Ideal Candidate
Senior AI/ML scientist with 10+ years in building and deploying ML solutions, with NLP/NLG and multimodal learning experience. Strong productionization capabilities (CI/CD, MLOps) and familiarity with regulated healthcare environments (HIPAA/GDPR, SaMD).
