Principal Algorithms Researcher (Remote)

Lead advanced R&D in machine learning, deep learning, and algorithms focused on cybersecurity data and threat research workflows. The role drives technical vision, invents new learning methods, and defines measurable research criteria to prioritize the most valuable challenges.

• Invent new algorithms and learning methods for cybersecurity challenges
• Scale research to run on petabytes of data
• Define research areas and prioritize them based on developments in AI

• Lead technically by building consensus and socializing progress and risks

You will work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Threat Research, designing and scaling learning methods for cybersecurity datasets with petabyte-scale requirements. The role emphasizes objective-driven evaluation, cost-effective progress criteria, and leadership across large research teams.

The ideal candidate is an advanced R&D leader with a PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Statistics, and deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and algorithms. They have built AI and agentic systems and led objective-driven data science research with an emphasis on measurable, cost-effective progress. They understand cybersecurity and threat research and can communicate effectively while building consensus in large project teams.
