Principal AWS Cloud Security Consultant- Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Principal AWS Cloud Security Consultant to lead consulting engagements delivering secure cloud design, assessments, and governance. The role includes risk assessments, compliance mapping, and implementation of cloud-native controls, along with client workshops and executive presentations.

• Lead design, assessment, and governance of secure cloud environments for clients
• Perform cloud security assessments to identify misconfigurations, risks, and compliance gaps
• Map compliance requirements and support continuous compliance/audit readiness
• Deliver AWS security workshops and executive stakeholder presentations
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to reusable assessment frameworks

You will design secure AWS and multi-cloud architectures, run in-depth cloud security assessments for misconfigurations and compliance gaps, and support continuous compliance and audit readiness. The role emphasizes DevSecOps and CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) practices plus delivery of security roadmaps and architecture diagrams.

The ideal candidate is an AWS-focused cloud security consultant with deep experience designing, assessing, and governing secure cloud environments for enterprise clients. They can run cloud security workshops, perform risk assessments and compliance mapping, and communicate findings clearly to executive stakeholders while partnering on DevSecOps and CNAPP-style guardrails.
