About this role

Enlyte is hiring a Principal Cloud Engineer (AWS) to design, implement, and evolve its AWS cloud platform. The role leads complex AWS initiatives, influences architecture decisions across teams, and drives operational excellence for monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and evolve AWS cloud architectures for enterprise workloads
Define AWS reference architectures, design patterns, and engineering standards
Lead architectural design and cloud migrations/modernization efforts
Architect highly available, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure meeting compliance requirements
Establish standards for monitoring, logging, incident response, disaster recovery, and cost optimization

Technical Overview

This position focuses on AWS infrastructure and architecture for enterprise workloads, including highly available, scalable, and secure designs. You will lead cloud migrations and cloud-native modernization while setting standards for monitoring, logging, incident response, disaster recovery, security controls (identity/access/encryption/network), and cost optimization.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Principal Cloud Engineer with strong AWS architecture experience across enterprise workloads. They have led complex cloud initiatives including highly available, secure AWS infrastructure design, cloud migrations and modernization, and established standards for monitoring, logging, incident response, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
