Principal Consultant, Healthcare BPO Transformation

ISG is hiring a Principal Consultant to lead healthcare operations and BPO transformation engagements. The role advises health systems and provider organizations on operating model design, sourcing strategy, and technology-enabled operational improvement across the full revenue cycle.

• Lead healthcare operations and BPO engagements across Revenue Cycle Management, Utilization Management, and payer operations
• Advise on adjacent healthcare domains (claims operations, prior authorization, payer administration)
• Partner with stakeholders to redesign workflows and define target operating models
• Manage complex transformation, outsourcing, and managed services delivery
• Support business development and value-add sales opportunities

The role focuses on healthcare business process transformation rather than software development. It includes end-to-end advisory across solution design, vendor evaluation, contracting/negotiations, and transition support, with exposure to implementing AI and Agentic AI solutions to improve operations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced healthcare operations and BPO consulting professional with strong Revenue Cycle Management background. They can lead large, complex sourcing and transformation engagements end-to-end—from current state assessment and solution design through vendor evaluation, contracting, and transition support—while advising health systems and physician groups on operating model design and payer-adjacent workflows. They should also be comfortable discussing AI and Agentic AI opportunities to improve business processes.
