About this role
Lead/Principal Design to Verification Engineer responsible for developing and standardizing design verification and validation across electro-mechanical NPD programs. The role focuses on verification plans, test plans, DOE/FMEA processes, and mentoring teams to meet CTQ metrics for successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and standardize design verification and validation plans, design requirements, test plans, and FMEA/FRACA processes
- Teach Product Design Verification Processes to meet CTQ metrics for successful product launches
- Develop metrics and reporting for Testing, Engineering, and Reliability teams
- Participate in Test Plan Reviews during the NPD process to ensure all requirements are met
- Lead and mentor teams in applying Six Sigma tools (Six Sigma Green Belt) and RCA/DOE methodologies
Technical Overview
Scope includes creating verification/validation plans, design requirements, test plans, DOE, FMEA/FRACAs, RCA, and applying Six Sigma tools within Product Execution Engineering for New Product Development.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior design verification engineer with 10+ years in electro-mechanical NPD environments, strong RCA/DOE/FMEA skills, and Six Sigma Green Belt certification. They should excel at leading cross-functional teams, establishing verification standards, and delivering robust product validation.
