About this role
This Principal Engineer role provides key design and engineering for cybersecurity projects, focusing on secure-by-design solutions in a Cloud First, Mobile First strategy. The engineer will lead security controls design and implementation across the enterprise and support security research, evaluations, and project consulting.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaboratively design and lead implementation of security controls across the enterprise
- Build cybersecurity solutions, processes, and standards for secure-by-design
- Ensure cybersecurity tools are configured/operated to meet standards across domains
- Support security research and development and product evaluations
- Provide technical expertise to implement security guidelines with other departments and IT
Technical Overview
You will design and implement cybersecurity controls spanning endpoint protection, network security, data protection, vulnerability management, and SIEM. The role requires understanding security tool operation/configuration and aligning solutions to standards for infrastructure, applications, and data security.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-to-lead security engineer with 8+ years designing and deploying enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions in Cloud First, Mobile First environments. They are hands-on with security controls across endpoint protection, network security, data protection, vulnerability management, and SIEM, and they can drive standards and implementation across the enterprise.
