About this role
This Principal Engineer role will implement and mature Caesars' cybersecurity data protection program. The focus is on identifying, classifying, and protecting data at rest and in motion using DLP strategy and data protection techniques—especially within Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute data protection strategy to identify, classify, and protect data at rest and in motion
- Implement and mature DLP strategy and techniques
- Configure, optimize, and administer data protection and DLP platform(s)
- Ensure DLP and data protection platforms integrate with SIEM and related security tools
- Improve Microsoft 365 security posture to mitigate data risks in the M365 ecosystem
Technical Overview
The role manages and optimizes data protection and DLP platforms, including integrating them with SIEM and other security tools. It requires deep expertise in encryption, tokenization, masking, and end-to-end DLP platform lifecycle management, with strong Microsoft 365 ecosystem security risk mitigation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a principal-level data protection security engineer with 10+ years in enterprise technology and 5+ years implementing and managing data protection and DLP programs. They are expert in encryption, tokenization, masking, and DLP platform lifecycle management, with extensive experience securing data risks in the Microsoft 365 (Microsoft M365) ecosystem.
