About this role
This role recruits an enterprise energy sales leader to drive revenue growth with Amazon’s largest utilities, oil & gas, and renewables account. You will lead executive-level relationships, build account plans, and coordinate cross-functional pan-Amazon collaboration to deliver integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth for the largest energy account via strategic initiatives,
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans,
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions,
- Create and articulate value propositions to IT and business executives,
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic prospecting
Technical Overview
While not a software engineering role, the position focuses on technology deal execution and driving adoption of new and disruptive technologies. The manager will align Amazon’s capabilities to customer business objectives and technology roadmaps and craft value propositions for both IT and line of business stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior enterprise technology sales leader with 9+ years of technology related sales and business development experience, including negotiating and closing large-scale technology deals. They have deep experience in the energy vertical (utilities, oil & gas, renewables), building executive relationships, and developing account plans that drive revenue growth through disruptive technology adoption.
