About this role
Ingredion is seeking a Principal Food Technician to provide technical service support for food and beverage applications with a primary focus on Texture & Healthful Solutions. The role develops formulations and prototypes, runs qualification/application tests, supports pilot and production trials, and produces technical reports for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bench-top and pilot plant project support for customer initiatives, Develop and prepare food formulations and prototypes under Good Manufacturing Practices, Conduct qualification and application testing for product launches and management, Support demos, prototypes, and application validations for trainings/webinars/customers, Prepare technical reports and documentation and support pilot/production trials
Technical Overview
Hands-on food formulation and prototype development at pilot plant and bench-top scale, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Conducts analytical and application testing, supports application validations and demos, and generates technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior-level food technician with deep experience in Good Manufacturing Practices and hands-on bench-top and pilot plant project support. They have a strong background in food formulations, prototypes, and qualification/application testing across categories like Beverage, Dairy, Bakery, Confectionery, and Savory, with the ability to produce customer-ready technical reports.
