Principal Lead- Product Data Engineer spearheads data platform initiatives, enabling cloud-based data analytics, data modeling, and automated validation across multi-location teams in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with product owners to translate business outcomes into technical requirements
Decompose features into engineering stories
Define data contracts and metadata
Ensure observability and governance
Drive continuous improvement and backlog prioritization

Technical Overview

Focus on cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), data lakes/lakehouses, ELT/ETL pipelines, APIs, data modeling, data quality frameworks; BI visualization with Power BI/Tableau.

Ideal Candidate

A senior data engineer with broad experience across cloud data platforms and data analytics, capable of shaping data contracts, pipelines, and governance to enable analytics at scale in financial services.

Must-Have Skills
