About this role

Principal Network Engineer at Autodesk leads the Global Network Engineering team, designing and deploying the company’s network infrastructure across cloud and data-center environments. You will maintain standards, drive automation, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure and scalable networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Improve and engage in the entire lifecycle of a network, including inception, network design, qualification, deployment, operation, and optimization
Work on implementation of Autodesk's Global Networking backbone strategic infrastructure initiatives
Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards
Work closely with our automation teams in defining the tools that allow us to scale a

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior network engineer with CCNA and ANS-C01, strong automation background (Ansible/Terraform), and experience with cloud networking in AWS/Azure. They should lead Autodesk's Global Networking team and drive standards, deployment, and integration across cloud and data-center networks.
