About this role

Principal Product Manager for Platform Engineering responsible for the vision and roadmap of Zillow's internal platform offerings. You will balance governance, security, cost, reliability, and developer experience to enable rapid product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Own platform product roadmap—from discovery through launch and iteration—grounded in clear problem statements, defined success metrics, and stakeholder prioritization
Build empathy for internal developer customers and champion intuitive platforms
Balance trade-offs across cost, reliability, compliance, security, and developer experience
Lead platform rollouts and enablement to drive adoption
Partner with DX, Data Platform, and Security teams

Focus on cloud-native platform products, internal developer platforms, and cross-functional collaboration with DX, Data Platform, and Security teams; emphasis on Kubernetes and platform tooling.

They should excel at aligning platform roadmaps with business goals while maximizing developer productivity and experience.
