Amazon Data Services is seeking a Principal Schedule Controls leader who brings extensive electrical expertise to complex construction and scheduling efforts. The role develops long-term scheduling strategies, solves systemic scheduling problems, and implements scalable, repeatable schedule management processes with stakeholder coordination.

• Define and develop large-scale technical strategies across multiple team boundaries
• Solve significantly complex or systemic scheduling problems with innovative scalable solutions
• Develop scalable and repeatable schedule management solutions to enable AWS scaling
• Leverage electrical subject matter expertise to address scheduling root causes
• Deliver solutions through technical papers, product feedback, vendor contracts, SOPs, and policy updates

This position focuses on scheduling strategy and controls in construction contexts, with specialized depth in electrical systems. You will apply NEC regulations and electrical code compliance, interpret electrical drawings and specifications, and implement solutions through SOPs, policy updates, technical papers, and stakeholder-driven vendor or contractual changes.

The ideal candidate is an experienced principal-level construction/scheduling leader with extensive electrical expertise. They deeply understand NEC regulations, can interpret electrical drawings and specifications, and can develop scalable schedule management strategies that coordinate across internal and external stakeholders while strengthening safety and compliance.
