Technical Overview
This is a technical program management role focused on EC2 capacity planning and customer experience for large, unpredictable scaling events. The role interfaces with AWS Trainium (Amazon Web Services machine learning chip) planning, coordinates infrastructure/EC2 execution commitments globally, and leads process automation efforts with engineering teams.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior technical program manager with 7+ years of technical program or product management experience and strong experience partnering directly with engineering teams. They have managed cross-functional programs, built processes, and coordinated release schedules while using data-driven decision making to influence executive leadership on measurable KPIs. They are comfortable owning customer-facing demand intake and capacity planning initiatives for AWS infrastructure and related machine learning hardware programs such as AWS Trainium.
