About this role
Provide process engineering expertise to optimize, troubleshoot, and support regulatory and project activities at Natural Gas Gathering & Processing Facilities. Serve as a technical lead for optimization and what-if analysis, and support process safety management and economic evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize process performance with Operations and recommend adjustments
- Troubleshoot operational problems and determine causes and solutions
- Develop, maintain, update, and calibrate process models
- Support equipment and instrumentation design specifications and coordinate vendors
- Provide process safety management support including MOC and overpressure protection systems
Technical Overview
Focuses on process optimization and plant troubleshooting using process modeling software (HYSYS and ProMax). Supports process safety management activities including Management of Change (MOC), overpressure protection systems sizing/evaluation, hazard identification, and operating procedure development/modification.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a process engineer with hands-on experience optimizing Natural Gas Gathering & Processing facilities and troubleshooting plant operations. They have strong process modeling experience using HYSYS and/or ProMax and can support process safety management activities including Management of Change (MOC), hazard identification, and operating procedure updates.
