About this role
This Process Engineer role is responsible for process and design across mineral and chemical process plants. The position covers scoping through detailed engineering and execution, producing NI 43-101 technical reports, and leading modeling and project work from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Own process engineering and plant design activities
- Prepare and write technical reports per National Instrument 43-101
- Perform process modeling for mineral and chemical plants
- Conduct equipment sizing and selection and review plant layout
- Lead proposal development and project management end-to-end

The role focuses on process modeling and design, including equipment sizing and selection and review of plant layout. It also involves bias test analysis, proposal development with cost estimating, and project management, supported by tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Excel spreadsheets, METSIM, and Bruno.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior process engineer with 8+ years of experience in mining or process engineering and both a B.S. and M.S. in the field. They are a Registered Professional Engineer and a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, with strong process modeling, equipment sizing, plant layout review, and technical report writing experience.
