About this role
Entry-level Process Engineer I at DCP Midstream Wood River refinery to provide process technical expertise focused on safety, reliability, and profitability. The role interfaces with operations, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to implement and optimize refinery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of industrial processes and equipment for safe, reliable, and efficient operations
- Analyze data, specify process steps, and develop engineering solutions meeting cost, quality, and regulatory standards
- Support technical troubleshooting, participate in research activities, and create engineering drawings
- Draft and evaluate engineering standards, contribute to project management, and design test procedures
- Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, safety enhancements, and sustainability
Technical Overview
Scope includes process optimization, data analysis, and development of engineering solutions; will produce engineering drawings and support major turnarounds/startups; maintains process safety documentation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level process engineer with 1+ year of energy/refinery experience, TWIC eligible, and willing to travel up to 5% for field work and plant activities.
