ExxonMobil Bengaluru seeks a Process Safety Engineer to lead process safety engineering across the region, delivering risk management solutions and engineering excellence for operating facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HAZOP studies and other project deliverables
- Develop and execute risk screenings and assessments
- Develop Consequence Modelling using PHAST
- Conduct Vapor Cloud Explosion Consequence and Risk analysis
- Define fire protection design requirements and review new fire protection system designs
Technical Overview
Role focuses on explosion effects analysis, facility siting, consequence modelling, dispersion modelling, fire protection, HAZOP/HAZID, and risk analyses (LOPA, Event Tree, Fault Tree) with safety in design and MOC evaluations.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior process safety engineer with 7+ years of petrochemical/oil and gas experience, proficient in HAZOP/HAZID and quantitative risk analyses, and able to lead cross-functional risk reduction initiatives.
