About this role

Stripe is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Payments to own the pillar strategy, roadmap, and execution, balancing user needs with scalable infrastructure and partnerships. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, legal, and external partners to drive revenue and merchant satisfaction at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the long-term vision and strategy for your pillar and create and execute on a compelling roadmap
  • Build deep user empathy with merchants and financial partners
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, legal, and other teams to jointly shape product experiences
  • Ensure we are building a reliable, performant platform, including system reliability, API extensibility, and latency
  • Use metrics to inform your point of view and leverage analytics to measure success

Focus on payments platform strategy, APIs, analytics, experimentation, and cross-functional execution. Emphasis on building reliable, scalable payment experiences and multi-stakeholder alignment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced product manager (7+ years) focused on payments/fintech with a strong track record shipping API-driven products. They excel at cross-functional leadership, metrics-driven decisions, and multi-quarter roadmaps in a remote setting.
