About this role
This Product Manager, Technical role owns an internal software tool (SPS - Smart Planning System) and partners with internal customers and engineers to deliver capabilities that streamline cabling ordering and deployment. You will define requirements, prioritize features, build a roadmap, track adoption and performance metrics, and ensure BI dashboards reflect accurate data.
Key Responsibilities
- Own SPS - Smart Planning System: collect requirements, prioritize, and collaborate with engineers
- Define technical execution via detailed requirements and technology stack decisions
- Create and drive a product roadmap and feature prioritization across stakeholders
- Track success metrics including tools adoption, efficiency gains, and deployment speed
- Coordinate tool integrations and ensure BI dashboard data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Technical Overview
You will translate customer needs into detailed requirements, coordinate engineering feasibility and technology stack decisions, and balance technical debt against new features. You will also manage tool integrations with NLM-Cabling Services and work with Insights & Reports to keep BI dashboards updated with validated data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a technical product manager with experience translating internal customer needs into detailed requirements and delivering prioritized roadmaps in a cross-functional environment. They are strong in defining success metrics, driving tool integrations, and partnering with analytics to ensure BI dashboards reflect accurate, complete, and timely data.
