About this role
This role safely and efficiently moves pallets of finished products or component parts to the stretch wrapper, designated locations, or into warehouse/fabrication departments. It includes quality verification of molded fittings and packaging and accurate real-time completion of production line paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Move pallets of finished products or component parts safely and efficiently
- Use the stretch wrapper and designated locations to route product
- Verify plastic fitting identification (name, shape, dimension) and packaging correctness
- Complete production line paperwork accurately and in real time
- Detect, segregate, and isolate non-conforming quality defects and notify QA
Technical Overview
The technical scope is manufacturing material handling and line support: pallet movement to a stretch wrapper, packaging and labeling verification (labels, cartons/cases, bags), inspection of ink jet printed information, case count checks, and pallet configuration validation. The role also isolates non-conforming quality defects and escalates to Supervisor/Manager/QA.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level production material handler comfortable working a 12-hour night shift in a manufacturing environment. They can safely move pallets to the stretch wrapper and locations, maintain accurate real-time production paperwork, and perform quality checks on labels, cartons/cases, bags, ink jet printed information, case counts, and pallet configuration.
