Production Supervisor , Space Simulation Lab Amazon Leo

Leo is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead technicians in manufacturing and environmental testing of space hardware for the Space Hardware and Environmental Test team. The role runs on the back half night shift and blends shop-floor supervision with documentation, metrics reporting, and process improvement.

• Lead technicians for environmental testing in production,
• Plan and coordinate daily technician tasks and operations activities,
• Work cross-functionally with management, facilities, and supply chain,
• Report out operational metrics including staffing and resource utilization,
• Author, maintain, and train process documentation and review/approve rework for traceability

Supervise execution of Assembly, Inspection, In-process testing, and Environmental Testing processes for space hardware. Own and maintain laboratory procedures and process documentation, ensure rework accuracy with traceability, and apply lean principles while coordinating cross-functionally with facilities and supply chain.

The ideal candidate is an experienced production supervisor who has led technician teams performing environmental testing and assembly/inspection workflows for complex hardware, ideally in an aerospace or space systems environment. They are strong in documentation and training, can review rework with strict traceability, and consistently apply lean principles while reporting operational metrics.
