This role provides independent, in-depth support for Paychex productivity systems and applications. You will troubleshoot and maintain key platforms, perform upgrades and health checks, and create technical documentation to support IT and business users.

  • Provide critical and non-critical technical support for productivity systems
  • Design, deploy, and configure complex productivity systems in physical and virtual environments
  • Perform hardware/software upgrades and periodic health checks
  • Proactively monitor availability/performance and automate resolution
  • Create and maintain technical reference documentation for support and training

The position focuses on Microsoft Exchange/Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure Single Sign-On with Conditional Access, Intune MDM, Cisco Webex, and RightFax, including backend management for workgroup and production print systems. It also includes AI enablement via Copilot Studio workflows and agents to automate and streamline operations.

The ideal candidate is a senior productivity systems engineer with hands-on experience supporting and maintaining productivity applications in a physical and virtual environment. They have strong troubleshooting skills across Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure Single Sign-On and Conditional Access, and Intune MDM, and they proactively drive availability and performance improvements. They can also document technical procedures and contribute to automation, including building workflows and agents in Copilot Studio.
