About this role
This role partners with customers and AWS teams to design and implement scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS. You will lead application architecture, modernization, networking, API development, CI/CD, and data warehousing and migrations—especially using Amazon Redshift and related AWS analytics and ML services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, flexible, resilient AWS cloud architectures
- Build cloud-native applications using virtualized instances, containers, or serverless architecture
- Apply cloud networking expertise for network performance and infrastructure provisioning
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines to deliver scalable systems
- Lead data warehousing and database migration engagements including Amazon Redshift and AWS Analytics and ML services
Technical Overview
You will build cloud-native applications across virtualized instances, containers, and serverless approaches while applying cloud networking and infrastructure provisioning. You will use CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), perform large-scale data warehousing and database migration to Amazon Redshift, and support analytics and machine learning services such as Amazon Kinesis, AWS Glue, Amazon EMR, Athena, and Amazon SageMaker.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 1 year of hands-on experience in AWS cloud architecture and cloud computing, including delivering application modernization work. They have proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and can design resilient, scalable architectures using AWS networking, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, including data warehousing and migrations to Amazon Redshift.
