About this role
The Program Manager leads and tracks all aspects of assigned Intergalactic programs, including scope, schedule, and budget, from award through final delivery to the customer. They coordinate integrated product teams and act as the primary point of contact with customers, ensuring stakeholders receive timely status, risk/opportunity, scope change, and recovery plan communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned programs through a matrixed organization and integrated product teams
- Serve as main point of contact and primary communication focal point with customers
- Provide timely status, risks and opportunities, scope change information, and recovery plans
- Manage progress toward long term goals and support strategic direction with resource acquisition
- Coordinate across business development/proposal support, engineering, design, purchasing, assembly, and test
Technical Overview
This role manages aerospace program execution across multiple disciplines including engineering, design, purchasing, assembly, and test, and supports deliverables such as SDRLs and customer TIMs. It requires strong program communication and change management around scope, schedule, budget, and contractual milestones.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a program manager with 5+ years of professional experience across program management, project management, or project engineering, including 2+ years in the aerospace industry. They lead integrated product teams in a matrixed organization, manage scope/schedule/budget to contractual milestones, and serve as the primary point of contact with customers while communicating risks, opportunities, and recovery plans.
