Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical programming as a subject matter expert for study build, reporting and analytics
- Provide technical leadership and oversight of Clinical Programming deliverables including eCRFs review and specification alignment
- Ensure compliance with established standards and SOPs while managing timelines and escalating risks
- Partner with study teams and external vendors to translate study requirements into technical solutions
- Support mentoring, training, and performance feedback while maintaining documentation and libraries
Technical Overview
The role manages Clinical Programming deliverables across programs, including review of eCRFs, specifications (Protocol and In-Life Reports), and library development. It requires hands-on familiarity with data transformations, data flow, data loading, ETL tooling, and reporting writing using SQL/PL-SQL and languages/tools such as Java, Veeva, Databricks, Legacy SAS, and Python.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level clinical programming and reporting professional with 7+ years of experience in data transformations, data flow, and data loading, plus strong expertise in electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs) and clinical data capture. They also bring 4+ years of project management experience and can lead Clinical Programming deliverables across study build, reporting and analytics, mentoring teams and ensuring compliance with SOPs and standards.
