About this role

Capio Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage and oversee planning activities and PAL Stage 4 for an IT Systems Modernization project. The role includes project readiness, legislative analysis, PAL Stage 4 documentation, and support for Solution Integrator onboarding and post-approval implementation transition.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and incorporate changes using the project’s change control process
Support project planning activities including primary solution solicitation and CDT PAL Stage 4 deliverables
Lead implementation preparation including updating repositories, artifacts, tools, policies, and processes
Conduct effective project management through remaining PAL stages and provide project management support to client team
Assist with Solution Integrator (SI) Request for Proposal (RFP) development

Technical Overview

The Project Manager will apply project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools to coordinate IT modernization planning across remaining PAL stages. Responsibilities include change control incorporation, implementation preparation (repositories/artifacts/tools/policies/processes), and supporting Solution Integrator (SI) Request for Proposal (RFP) development and proposal evaluation.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a senior Project Manager with 5+ years of broad, extensive, increasingly responsible project management experience and at least 3 years in a lead capacity within the last 10 years. They have experience supporting IT modernization planning through Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) Stage 4, including legislative analysis, change control, and Solution Integrator (SI) RFP development and onboarding transition.
