Key Responsibilities
- Resolve complex construction project issues and disputes
- Review construction schedules and monitor variances vs cost control reporting
- Review change orders and assess impact
- Verify applications for payment and perform fiscal management
- Provide functional direction across scheduling, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control
Technical Overview
Oversee construction scheduling and progress tracking versus submitted schedules, including variance monitoring tied to scheduling and cost control reporting. Manage change orders, verify applications for payment, and direct dispute resolution and contract administration; BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a preferred capability.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level construction Project Manager/Construction Manager with 4+ years of relevant experience and strong command of schedules, change orders, cost control reporting, and fiscal management. They can direct construction dispute resolution, manage General Contractors in the field, and support contract administration and quality control for education projects, with BIM (Building Information Modeling) experience preferred.
