About this role
Manage wildfire mitigation initiatives by coordinating the implementation of Enhanced Powerline Safety Settings (EPSS) across distribution lines in high fire risk areas. Prepare program reports, timelines, budgets, and leadership updates while overseeing project scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce project management reports, timelines, budgets, and documentation
- Independently manage project plan deliverables and identify plan gaps and closure plans
- Assist with project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking
- Support RFP and contract management processes and manage assigned contracts and payments
- Manage resources and coordinate internal and external processes to ensure project deliverables are completed
Technical Overview
The technical scope centers on program execution for EPSS rollout, not software engineering. The role manages cost tracking and reconciliation, RFP/RFQ and contract workflows, and resource planning to drive timely project deliverables and milestones.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Project Manager who can independently manage smaller projects and contribute to larger wildfire mitigation program work streams. They have strong experience with project scope, schedule, cost, and risk management, including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals tracking. They are comfortable managing RFP/RFQ and contract processes, coordinating internal teams and external partners, and providing regular status updates to leadership.
