About this role
The Project Manager II serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customer programs, coordinating all phases of mid-to-large account projects. The role owns delivery performance across operational, financial, and customer satisfaction targets, ensuring projects stay on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer point of contact and act as customer advocate
- Coordinate all phases of project/program lifecycle including RFPs through installation
- Develop and manage critical timelines with customer approval and progress communication
- Review and approve architectural design and fixture drawings prior to customer release
- Monitor production via workinprocess review and labor/cost/margin reporting; perform budgets and P&L margin analysis
Technical Overview
The position manages end-to-end project execution from RFPs and order confirmations through production, delivery, and installation while maintaining critical timelines. It includes reviewing architectural design and fixture drawings, monitoring labor/cost/margin via reporting, and analyzing budgets and P&L with Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Project.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a project management professional with at least 5 years of experience managing mid-to-large customer accounts and complex project lifecycles in a consumer or manufacturing environment. They are proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Microsoft Project) and can coordinate timelines, drawings approvals, production progress, and financial targets (budgets, P&L, margin analysis).
