About this role
Project Manager for Georgia Power Transmission PMO Special Projects, responsible for leading statewide physical security and CIP compliance initiatives from concept to completion; SME on advanced security technologies and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Physical Security projects from development through implementation for Georgia Power Transmission (design, estimating, scheduling, construction, startup, QA/QC)
- Improve Physical Security processes for substations
- Evaluate fencing and ballistic materials for substations
- Identify CIP impacts in substation projects
- Collaborate with law enforcement and governance teams
Technical Overview
Focus on Physical Security technologies (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection), NERC CIP compliance, and substation/security engineering. Uses project management tools and enterprise software (Maximo, Oracle, TEAMS/STOMP/LIMS/Transview).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level project manager with strong CIP and physical security experience, capable of leading cross-functional teams across multiple workgroups to deliver NERC CIP-compliant security programs for transmission substations.
