About this role
Manages cross-functional capital projects in the energy sector, including transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT initiatives. Responsible for scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance through capital approval and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and IT projects
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget; develop recovery plans
- Develop business cases and manage capital approval processes
- Interface with sponsors and executive stakeholders; provide detailed reports
- Coordinate environment/regulatory analyses and external relationships
Technical Overview
Focus on project execution with emphasis on complex stakeholder coordination, regulatory and environmental considerations, procurement, and real estate aspects. Uses Microsoft Project and Office tools to manage plans and reporting.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level project manager with 2+ years of relevant PM experience in energy/infrastructure projects, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget. CAPM or PMP certifications are a plus.
