Project Manager - Transmission Projects leads or supports cross-functional management of transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and/or information technology projects. The role is accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance and for guiding teams through business case/capital approval through project closeout.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support overall project/program performance for transmission, substation, distribution, gas, information technology, and organizational initiatives
Manage costs, schedule, scope, and risks including development of recovery plans
Interface with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate project requirements
Lead communication with sponsors and key stakeholders, including executive level and interdepartmental presentations
Support business case/capital approval process and project closeout

Technical Overview

This is a capital project/program management role that coordinates multiple disciplines and operating areas. It emphasizes schedule/budget control, safety performance, risk management, recovery plan development, and executive/interdepartmental stakeholder communication.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Project Manager experienced managing or supporting transmission, substation, distribution, gas, and/or information technology projects. They will be able to control scope, schedule, budget, and safety performance across cross-functional teams, and lead stakeholders through business case/capital approval, execution planning, and project closeout.
