About this role
Architect and lead Windchill PLM implementations in a discrete manufacturing environment, driving end-to-end Windchill design, integrations with ERP systems and CAD tools, and governance for data models and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture, roadmap, and technical governance for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions with Windchill as the platform
- Lead Windchill design for PDM, ECRM, BOM/MBOM management
- Architect integrations between Windchill and CAD/ERP systems
- Define data migration strategies and cutover approaches
- Establish standards and DevOps/CI/CD practices for Windchill customizations

End-to-end Windchill architecture ownership including data model, security, lifecycle/workflow configurations; windchill upgrades; integrations with CAD (Creo) and ERP (SAP/Oracle); DevOps/CI-CD practices for Windchill
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior Windchill architect with 7+ years designing and implementing PLM solutions in manufacturing, capable of leading Windchill integrations with ERP systems and CAD tools, and driving full lifecycle projects.
Must-Have Skills
Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience designingimplementingand supporting enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions in a discrete manufacturingindustrialor heavy equipment environmentFive (5) or more years of hands-on experience as a solution architect or lead technical role on PTC Windchill (e.g.PDMLinkProjectLinkMPMLinkor equivalent modules)Deep understanding of Windchill concepts including lifecyclesworkflowsobject typesWTPartsEPMDocumentsproduct structureschange objectsand access control/securityExperience integrating Windchill with CAD tools (e.g.PTC Creo) and at least one major ERP (e.g.SAPOracle)Demonstrated experience leading at least one full lifecycle Windchill implementation or major upgrade (requirementsdesignbuildtestdeploymentand stabilization)Strong knowledge of PLM and engineering processes such as configuration managementchange managementrelease managementand BOM managementand how they are realized in WindchillExperience with performance tuningenvironment strategyand technical operations for Windchill
