Manufacturing/Process Engineer for PVCO at a Westlake Wichita Falls plant. Responsible for PVCO process understanding, optimizing extrusion/packaging, and leading CAPA and training to ensure safe, efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop PVCO manufacturing knowledge; Monitor and optimize processes; Lead RCA/CAPA; Create work instructions; Deliver operator training
Technical Overview
Focused on PVCO extrusion processes—orientation, cooling, beling, testing;Develops work instructions and documentation; Leads RCA/CAPA; familiar with CAD, PLC and process controls; travels for capital projects and training.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a mid-level manufacturing/process engineer with 3+ years in PVCO/plastic extrusion, strong problem-solving and CAPA experience, and hands-on CAD/PLC capabilities; able to lead process improvement, training, and capital projects on the shop floor.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ManufacturingMechanicalChemicalMaterials/PolymerIndustrialor related discipline)3-7 years of manufacturing or process engineering experienceProficiency with CAD and manufacturing data analysis tools
