About this role

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our Digital Asset development team. This role designs, executes, and maintains automated and manual tests for API-driven backend systems in a financial services environment, with emphasis on CI/CD integration and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for APIs and backend services
  • Create and maintain test artefacts including test plans, test cases, and test execution evidence
  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Clarify acceptance criteria, identify defects early, and support defect triage and resolution
  • Contribute automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support production readiness

Technical Overview

Focus on API testing, backend service validation, and automated tests within CI/CD. Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile, with experience in Jira-based test management and production readiness activities.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an hands-on QA Automation Engineer with REST API and backend service testing experience in a regulated financial services environment, strong CI/CD and defect triage capabilities, and a focus on production readiness.

Must-Have Skills

Handson experience as a QA Automation Engineer or QA Engineer in financial services or other regulated environmentsExperience testing REST APIs and backend servicesWorking knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g.API automationbackend test frameworksor UI automation where applicable)Understanding of QA practices across the SDLCincluding Agile deliverydefect managementand regression testing

Nice-to-Have Skills
