About this role
QA Auditor ensures accuracy, completeness, and compliance of medical and dental coding and data entry services under PWS and IHS standards, conducting audits to identify improvement opportunities and regulatory gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit coding assignments for accuracy and compliance
- Monitor timelines and identify improvement opportunities
- Review medical and dental records and coding systems
- Interpret clinical documentation
- Report findings and recommendations
Technical Overview
Knowledge of RPMS PCC and IHS systems; familiarity with federal healthcare regulations and EHR/EDR platforms; strong auditing and data interpretation skills.
Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate is CPC/CCS/RHIT/RHIA certified with 3-5 years of medical coding/auditing, deep knowledge of ICD/CPT/HCPCS and E/M guidelines, RPMS PCC and IHS systems experience, and strong attention to detail.
