About this role
Perform receiving and in-process inspections for PCBA aerospace-grade hardware. Execute inspections to IPC 610, J-Std/Space addendum, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T, and complete FAIRs to AS9102.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect PCB/PCBA hardware to IPC 610 and J-Std / Space addendum
- Read Inspection Plans and Work Instructions to perform quality inspections
- Interpret engineering blueprints and drawings to ASME Y14.5 (GD&T)
- Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102
- Report nonconformances; perform critical in-process and final inspections and support rework/repair buy-off
Technical Overview
This is an inspection-focused quality role handling PCBA hardware conformity. The inspector uses inspection plans, work instructions, and engineering drawings to apply IPC 610, ASME Y14.5 (GD&T), and AS9102 FAIR processes, and documents findings with nonconformance reports.

The ideal candidate is a quality inspection professional focused on PCBA hardware inspection for aerospace-grade products, experienced with IPC 610 and J-Std/Space addendum. They are detail-oriented, able to lead 5S in the quality area, and coordinate effectively with quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
