About this role
This role is for an R&D Structural Engineer focused on designing and developing unique structural steel components. You will run analytical and applied research, perform structural analysis, and validate performance through lab or field testing while collaborating across engineering and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical and applied research to develop structural systems and components
- Perform advanced structural analysis using hand calculations, spreadsheets, and finite element software
- Design plan and evaluate laboratory or field-testing programs
- Interpret test results and translate findings into practical design improvements or standards
- Provide technical support and present recommendations to internal stakeholders
