About this role
ATAC R&D Manager for Tactical Aircraft leads research and evaluation of existing fighter/attack aircraft for integration; drafts RFPs, evaluates acquisitions, and supports upgrades with avionics/sensors integration and test planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Research existing fighter aircraft for cost-effective integration; assist with RFP drafting; evaluate acquisitions to meet CAS requirements; assist with integration of EO/IR sensors and AESA radars; assist Program Managers with requirements derivation and T&E planning
Technical Overview
Scope includes avionics integration (EO/IR sensors, AESA radars, HMCS) and systems-level requirements; supports proposal development and T&E planning; requires active clearance and extensive DoD-acquired experience.
Ideal Candidate
An experienced aerospace flight/test engineer with 8+ years of fighter aircraft mission and radar systems integration, DoD/Test & Evaluation background, and active Top Secret clearance. Must be a former military pilot with TPS credentials and able to operate within a demanding, security-cleared program environment.
Must-Have Skills
