This is a Radiology/CT Technologist Bridge Program for a full-time Radiology Technologist transitioning into CT Technologist responsibilities. The role supports daily Radiology department operations, prepares equipment and patients, and ensures imaging and documentation are completed accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Prepares room, equipment, contrast media and materials as needed for procedures
Maintains clean and stocked X-Ray procedure room; warms X-Ray equipment and ensures proper operation
Prepares and positions patients for X-ray procedures and assists during/after procedures
Sends images to PACS and verifies availability for interpretation
Maintains radiation safety, Universal Protocol measurements, and patient confidentiality/privacy

Technical Overview

Work includes operating and preparing X-ray systems and related hardware, sending images to PACS for timely interpretation, and using EHR for charge documentation. The position emphasizes radiation safety, Universal Protocol policy compliance, and correct patient positioning and scheduling workflows.

The ideal candidate is a Radiology Technologist ready for a Radiology Technologist Bridge to CT Technologist program, with strong hands-on X-ray imaging skills. They can safely operate radiation-producing equipment, send images to PACS, follow Universal Protocol requirements, and consistently maintain patient confidentiality. They are reliable with patient positioning, emergency response support, and accurate, timely charge documentation in the EHR.
