Rate Analyst I - Sr Lead

This role prepares and supports utility rate and tariff work, including defining tariff applicability and calculation methodology and compiling per-book revenue data. You will interpret rates for business users, support regulatory proceedings (including rate case filings), and help maintain rate administration tools and training materials.

• Provide expertise to support regulatory proceedings and rate case/tariff development
• Deliver timely and accurate rate interpretation for business-critical tasks
• Review and support Electric Service Agreements and Rider Agreements for operating companies
• Compile accurate and timely per-book revenue data for regulatory filing teams
• Maintain rate administration tools (web site, specialty rate calculation programs, bill comparison modules) and training materials

The work focuses on tariff administration and rate analytics: preparing tariffs, managing calculation programs and bill comparison modules, and ensuring tariff implementation aligns with billing systems and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also include complex modeling for best rate comparisons and producing reporting/training for internal and customer-facing groups.

The ideal candidate is a mid-level to senior rate or regulatory analyst with experience interpreting tariffs, developing tariff calculation methodology, and preparing per-book revenue data for regulatory filings. They have strong accuracy in billing integrity and can support rate cases, including tariff development and training business users on rate application and reporting.
