About this role
Responsible for inspecting incoming supplier materials to ensure they meet required quality and compliance standards. Will document inspection results, interpret blueprints/specifications, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming supplier materials for quality and compliance using measurement tools
- Interpret engineering blueprints and specifications
- Document inspection results in an on-line MIS system
- Perform multi-vary studies using gauging equipment
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, QA, Supply Management and suppliers to address quality issues
Technical Overview
Performs inspections using multi-dimensional testing and gauging equipment (including optical comparators, computerized vision measuring systems, and electronic test equipment). Uses Intergraph, CAD, and Telnet to view/plot blueprint and procedure cards and records results in an on-line MIS system while following GMP, SOP, and FDA requirements.

The ideal candidate is an inspection-focused professional familiar with measuring and gauging equipment used to verify incoming supplier materials. They can interpret engineering blueprints and specifications, document results in an MIS system, and work to GMP/SOP and FDA requirements in a manufacturing environment.
