General Summary: Under general supervision, responsible for zone maintenance, vehicle receiving & shipping, inventory scanning, vehicle movement, lot wash/merchandising, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute processes per work instructions
- Maintain daily lot and display areas
- Secure and receive vehicles
- Prep vehicle and title packets for shipping
- Complete scanning of vehicles
Technical Overview
Operational role focused on inventory control and vehicle logistics with basic data entry and compliance tasks; uses standard CarMax procedures and certifications (Workday Learnings, Workstation Certifications).
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an entry-level operations associate with strong attention to detail, able to manage vehicle flow, inventory scanning, and basic reconditioning tasks, with a valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior CarMax experience is helpful but not required.
