Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care within competencies
- Assess, initiate, and document patient care based on assessment and reassessment
- Complete established competencies within the designated introductory period
- Support Baptist Health System mission, policies, and procedures
- Maintain required AHA certifications (BLS on hire; ACLS/PALS within deadlines)

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse New Graduate (RN) who is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and either holds a current Texas RN license or is currently eligible for Texas state board certification. They are able to complete required certifications on schedule (BLS on hire, plus ACLS within 60 days for Surgical Services and PALS within 60 days for Pedi Post Anesthesia Care Unit).
