About this role
Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab provides direct clinical patient care, assessing and implementing care per shift and unit level while supervising delegated care. The role supports the CNO to ensure safe, high-quality nursing care and competency of clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical patient care per shift and unit level
- Assess, plan, and implement assigned patient care
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care is delegated
- Support CNO for safe, high-quality nursing care
- Maintain certification compliance (BLS on hire; ACLS/CPI/PALS/NRP as applicable)
Technical Overview
Clinical scope includes RN licensure compliance and certification requirements with onboarding windows (BLS upon hire; ACLS/CPI/PALS/NRP within 3 months for specified departments). Care delivery is structured around direct patient care responsibilities and coordination of patient needs.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse (RN) with current applicable state licensure / permit and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required upon hire). They are able to obtain department-required advanced certifications within required timelines (ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP where applicable) and coordinate direct patient care in a cath lab or related cardiac care environment.
